This activity was also conceived as a continuation and/or post-event of the second conference of the Political Ecology of the Extreme Right (PEFR) Network.
Logistical support for the access link to the session was provided in Uppsala, Sweden, by Daniel Mossberg + Azril Bacal (contact person and facilitator) of the “Café con Paulo Freire” program at CEMUS (www.cemus.uu.se).

In the last years the multiple crises have deepened worldwide. Nearly all the State prone and market-oriented powers including international Institutions like the United Nations, NATO, the European Union, and Russia have by action or lack of action drowned the world into a sea of bloody wars, economic and ecological disasters and neocolonial injustices.
The only possibility left to tackle this disaster is a worldwide rural and urban mobilization of the civil society on all continents and all fields of action, fighting for peace and justice in every community, municipality and city of the world.
This panel discussion pursued the purpose of having an open discussion about these priorities in a consensually established time frame starting with Peace as a necessary condition for social, political and environmental justice and Justice as a necessary condition for Peace.

We are facing complex and interconnected challenges in food security across the globe. It has become more and more vital to understand the impact of industrial agriculture on soil as we witness polluted air and water. The record-breaking climate threats because of massive greenhouse gas emissions; rising temperatures, unpredictable weather patterns, and extreme events in farming practices pose threats to our food system.
As a result, there is continued depletion of resources, environment degradation, and biodiversity losses impacting growing displacements, migrations, and conflicts in all life forms globally.
Our aim for the assembly was to share, reflect on the experiences, and talk about the evidence and facts of urgency to act. In solidarity, for change that we need in our society now and today. We propose dto collectively explore these issues in this forum with a loud voice and commitment to change.
